Cork County Juvenile Cross-Country

The club had two very successful outings at the Cork county cross-country championships in Youghal and Carrigadrohid recently. Both days racing were held in wet and windy conditions but the Togher lads stood up to the challenge winning lots of medals. The following were the team positions over the two days
The club had two very successful outings at the Cork county cross-country championships in Youghal and Carrigadrohid recently. Both days racing were held in wet and windy conditions but the Togher lads stood up to the challenge winning lots of medals. The following were the team positions over the two days
- U13: Togher A 3rd
- U14: Togher A 2nd, Togher B 3rd
- U15: Togher A 1st, Togher B 3rd
- U16: Togher A 1st, Togher B 2nd, Togher C 3rd
- U17: Togher A 1st, Togher B 2nd, Togher C 3rd
- U18: Togher A 1st, Togher B 3rd
- U19: Togher A 1st
There were also some fine individual performances also with Craig Murphy recording an easy double in the U18 & U19 races. Michael Carroll also had impressive runs finishing 3rd U16 & 2nd U17. Brian Murray and Peter Hanrahan also had outstanding races in the u15 boys event. Also a special mention to Patrick Coleman winner of the u14 race and 2nd in u15 race who is coached by Steven Macklin also.
