Togher athletes have excelled recently on the roads having competed at the BHAA UCC 10km road race, East Cork 4 mile road race and BHAA 4 mile beach run in Youghal.
At the UCC 10km race Shane Coffey had a fine run for 13th in 35.00, Donal Coakley 16th in 35.22 and Rob O Shea 42nd in 38.28. At the 4 mile road race in Castlemartyr Shane Coffey produced another fine run finishing 5th in 22.06. Finally at the 4 mile beach run in Youghal Eoin O Sullivan produced a superb run to win in 22.12 with other great runs from Shane Coffey 4th 22.28, Donal Coakley 6th 22.56 and Dan Weaver 7th 23.00.
