Togher athletes had another busy weekend competing at the National Intermediate Cross-Country championships in Roscommon, the MAAC Indoor T&F championships in New York and a Mile challenge at Cork IT track.Full weekend report

Craig Murphy had a great run at the Boston University Valentine Indoor Invitational at the weekend running a new 3000m PB with a 8.19 clocking. Also competing this weekend were three of the clubs junior athletes at the Cork BHAA 5km Cross-Country in Beaumount where Alan O Brien finished a superb 9th, Brian Murray 13th and John Dorgan 18th.8th of February
Togher athletes were in great form at the weekend with Robert Heffernan winning his 12th consecutive National Senior Indoor 5km Race Walking title in Belfast, Tim Healy walking a great new PB and Tony Kelleher winning the mens 40 category at the Mallow 10 Mile Road race in Cork.Full weekend report

Togher athletes enjoyed another successful day at the Munster Senior & Junior Cross-Country championships held in Carraig Na Bhfear today. Although the teams were without some key members they still performed admirably.Full report

Congratulations to Ian Hartnett who has been selected to run for Ireland at the Celtic International Cross-Country championships on January 23rd. The event takes place at the Greenmount campus Antrim in conjunction with the Antrim IAAF International Cross-Country event. This is Ian's 2nd time representing Ireland and it is a huge achievement for him. All at the club would like to wish him the very best of luck.Togher AC

About the Club
Togher Athletics Club is an athletics club based in Cork City that was founded in 1966. The club is based in Togher but also trains regularly in Maradyke Arena track in the city. Directions and membership information can be found in the membership section.The New Website
The Togher AC website was given a face lift recently. Content is still in the same sections, however the photo albums are now organized by year.
